Reward Yourself
These rewards do not have to be big or expensive, just
little rewards for keeping yourself on track. For example: “For staying on
track all week, I get to buy that cute new lip-gloss.” Or “For staying on track
for the whole week, I get to see that movie I have been wanting to see.” These
are small, inexpensive things (That are not food rewards- you aren’t dogs
people!) that you can reward yourself with. You can also set bigger goals and
bigger rewards such as “For staying on track all month, I get to go buy that
cute shirt I have had my eye on.” I have a HUGE goal that I have set for
myself. When I get to my goal size (I am using pant size, not weight) I get to
spend $1,000 on new clothes. I have made a few small clothing purchases, only
because NOTHING fit, but for the most part I am saving my shopping dollars
until I reach my goal! I am curious, what does everyone else reward themselves with?

What Beachbody does for ME
I am a Beachbody Coach.
Thanks to Beachbody I have been able to help so many people get in shape the
HEALTHY way! Beachbody has allowed me to make lasting friendships, with people
that help keep me on track. This amazing group of people truly wants to lift
one another up so that EVERYONE can be successful- in life as well as in
fitness. There is no competition between coaches on this team. There is no
pressure to push the Beachbody products on others. I am not selling makeup or
candles to anyone who will listen. I am helping people who are ready to change,
become the people they want to become.
Being in a coach role helps to keep me accountable to my nutrition plans and my workouts. I don’t want to be that chubby coach who doesn’t practice what I preach. I preach the Beachbody products because I KNOW that they work. I have personally struggled my way through them and come out a better person. People have been watching me. I have heard from many many people who said I have inspired them to get back in shape. That’s is why I am a coach- to inspire others and to help end the trend of obesity. Thank you so much to everyone for letting me know how I have helped you, you inspire me to work harder. This is by far one of the best jobs there is. I am putting this next goal out there. I hope to grow my team by four more amazing people this month. Fill out the application to be considered and we can get you on the right track to helping others as well!

Snacking!
When trying to lose weight, most people tend to cut out
one of the most important steps to weight loss- snacking! Eating snacks can
help manage hunger and reduce bingeing. These snacks need to be small, and you
still need to be working out :) Moderation and healthy choices are the key to
snacking. Try to choose snacks that are around 100-200 calories.
Here are some healthy snack ideas:
- 1.5 cup vegetables and 2 Tbsp Hummus
- 1 cup fruit
- 1 slice Ezikiel bread with almond butter
- 2 Tbsp nuts
- 3 ½ cups or air popped PLAIN popcorn
- 2 cups veggies
- A hard boiled egg.
Snacks to AVOID
- 100-calorie snack packs- chemical SHIT storm right there
- White processed grains
- Yogurt- if it has many ingredients ahem Yoplait
- Store bought muffins and pastries
- Chips
- Doughnuts
- Soda
- Lattes

Raw Tomatillo Salsa
- 8 tomatillos, husked, rinsed, and quartered.
- ¼ red onion (can also use yellow onion for a more mellow flavor)
- 2 cloves garlic
- ¼ cup cilantro, stems removed
- 2 Serrano peppers, stemmed and seeded. (you can also use a large jalapeƱo for a milder salsa)
- ¼ tsp salt (I use pink Himalayan sea salt)
- 2 oz water
Place all ingredients in a food processor (or blender!) and
blend until smooth. You can add more water if you would like a thinner salsa.
Viola, that’s it! I like to put mine in a container in the fridge and use a
small amount throughout the week. I love to put it on EVERYTHING, and will even
add some to my guacamole for more a more flavorful guac.
Crock-pot Shredded Chicken
I always make a protein on Sundays to keep me on track
throughout the week. This week was one of my favorites, crock-pot shredded
chicken. This recipe is SO EASY and is my go to recipe for chicken!
Crock-pot Shredded Chicken
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
¾ cup vegetable broth- I like Pacific Organic because it is
really flavorful, just look at sodium content when selecting a broth!
Salt (I use pink Himalayan)
Pepper
Oregano
Garlic (Sometimes I just halve cloves, or I use garlic
powder)
Place chicken breasts in crock-pot. Sprinkle with salt,
pepper, oregano and garlic. Pour vegetable broth on the side so you don’t rinse
the seasoning off the chicken. Place lid on crock-pot and cook on High for 4
hours or low for 7 hours. When the chicken is done, remove garlic cloves if you
used them, and then shred the chicken with two forks while still in the
crock-pot. The chicken will suck up the rest of the juice and leave you with
moist, flavorful chicken for the week. This chicken is an excellent base
chicken that you can use in tacos, chicken salad, on salads, wraps, BBQ
sandwiches, quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas and in pasta sauces.
So on Sunday prep day I always make a protein and have some
plans for how to “dress it up” to eat throughout the week. This week I made a
tomatillo salsa and put it over shredded chicken and brown rice.

What does a Beachbody Coach do?
To begin with, you do not need to be a fitness instructor or a nutritionist to be a great coach. That is what Beachbody does! The programs, nutrition plans and supplements take care of that! Some coaches totally are health professionals, bit for the most part are just average people who love to help other people by sharing the beachbody products with them. It really is not all that different them recommending a new restaurant to a friend or reviewing a product online for others. This is exactly what we do as Beachbody coaches. We recommend something that we know works and produces results. Most people who have done a Beachbody work out are already talking about it so becoming a Beachbody coach is just a natural progression.
To keep it simple, we stay in great shape with a Beachbody work out, we buy our supplements from our own store ( while saving 25%) and we share this with others. running challenge groups really helps other through their programs as well. Do you know anyone who want to lose some weight? Do you know anyone that could use some extra money? Do you know anyone who hates their current job? Do you know anyone who wants to get in better shape? I know people who want to do all of the above, and I am sure you do as well!
When you become a beachbody coach, you will be given everything you need to help you succeed. You will still need to invest time and effort into this business, but I am currently doing it working 50-70 hours a week and traveling every other weekend! If I can do it- you can too! How successful you are in this business will depend on you. Some people want to make their car payment, and some people want to make hundreds of thousands a year.

The Ultimate Reset- Mike's Results!
I am SO excited to post this! My wonderful boyfriend just finished The Ultimate Reset. These are his results!
A little description of what the Ultimate Reset is for those of you that do not know- The Ultimate Reset is an internal reset that enables your body to function more effectively (Think of it as P90X for your insides).
